Michael Wilson

Michael is the owner and director of Enliven Fitness. He lives, breathes and daydreams health - but that doesn’t mean he’s perfect.

In fact, Michael encourages all Enliven members to see health and fitness as a way of life, not something rigid. That means embracing the journey, shooting for persistence not perfection and having whole lot of fun along the way.

 

Michael specialises in: Functional and corrective exercise; Primal movement patterns; Weight loss expertise; Body shaping and conditioning; Injury management and rehabilitation; CHEK training methods; Results producing training programs and Nutritional coaching.

Jen C

Jen has been into health and fitness her whole life and come from a family of fitness enthusiast. From a young age she would enjoy fun runs with her Dad. In her early years she learnt and saw the benefits of strength training and how it also improved her running.

Jen believes in treating the body as a whole, one where you combine not only exercise but proper rest and nutrition to perform, feel and look your best. Through her own training and education she now leads the way for her clients ensuring they all achieve their optimal potential. She motivate them and leads by example.

 

Jen Specialises in: whole body toning and shaping, weight loss, fitness conditioning, and core conditioning and is our in house running expert.

Kristy Emmett

Kristy Emmett is a Personal Trainer, Certified Holistic Health Coach and a Registered Nurse, and is passionate about all things health and diet related. She inspires her clients to make positive life-long changes to their life, take care of their body, mind and spirit; and to become their healthiest self-possible. Kristy understands first hand the healing and enlivening properties of good quality, organic nutrition, living a balanced life and exercising regularly and has used these principles to overcome her own health ailments.

 

Kristy specialises in:  Nutritional coaching; Healthy detoxifying; Weight loss expertise; Specific diets (Paleo, Weston. A Price, antifungal/anti-candidia, antinflammatory); Digestive, hormonal and adrenal rebalancing, as well as dynamic and exciting Personal Training.

Alan G

Alan is one of Enlivens senior trainers. His interest in fitness began in 1981 with karate. This further led into becoming a qualified kickboxing and boxing instructor over the years. In 1982 Al officially started his career as a personal training of which opened his horizon to a new look on health and fitness.

Through many years of hard work and dedication, Al has now become a master trainer. Learning from some of the greatest minds in the world of Health and Fitness, from Paul Chek, to Mark Buckley and Charles Poliquin, AL started training the body using an holistic approach. Seeing the body as a system of systems; physical, spiritual, mental and emotional led him to change his approach to training, and to realise that it wasn't just all about the exercise, but how we treat our bodies and mind as a whole.

 

Alan specialises in: Functional Training, Strength Training, Pre and Post Natal Training, Seniors Training for 50+, Body Building, Boxing and Kickboxing

Chris K

 

Chris K is our freshest Enliven face, and with a military background, knows a thing or two about getting results. (But he's not scary at all, promise!)

 
He's a fully qualified personal trainer specialising in strength and conditioning, muscular definition and weight loss, as well as being an ACE certified boxing instructor.
Chris has worked for the australian army, so he's a sucker for organisation, being on time and using structure to enhance performance. He imparts these same philosophies onto his clients. 
 
He's a big believer in embracing the challenge and working on areas of weakness - something we all tend to avoid. *squirm* 
Like most of us at Enliven, he enjoys training outdoors and body weight/plyometric workouts combined with circuits and boxing. Of course, there's plenty of room for weight training, squats and deadlifts, too.
 
Apart from being a PT, Chris is also a uni student studying exercise and sports science. His goal is to become an exercise physiologist, so he'll be not just super, but dooper qualified. His passion is studying and passing on knowledge - so training with Chris will not only get you physical results, but keep you informed too.
